Booty worth Rs 7.86 lakh stolen from house in Ambazari

Nagpur: Burglars struck it rich when they targeted a house in Deotale Layout, Ambazari area. The miscreants laid their hands on gold-silver ornaments and cash collectively worth Rs 7.86 lakh.

The victim house owner, Vinod Kumar Agrawal, on March 1, locked his house and went outstation for some domestic work. In the meantime, burglars gained entry into his house and decamped with gold-silver ornaments and cash Rs 2.71 lakh. The collective value of stolen booty is Rs 7.86 lakh. The theft came to notice of Agrawal when he returned from Akola. He immediately lodged a complaint with Ambazari police.

Cops have registered a theft case and launched investigation.
