Nagpur: Bollywood Actors Shreyas Talpade and Manjiri Phadnis, who were in the city to promote their movie Wah Taj, paid a visit to Nagpur Today office on September 21, 2016.While speaking about their upcoming movie, Shreyas Talpade claimed that this is one movie which is clean and can be watched with the entire family. He added that Wah Taj is a complete entertainment.
While speaking about his role in the movie, he told Nagpur Today that he plays the role of a farmer from Maharashtra who believes that the land on which Taj Mahal is built is originally his and that he would like to get back his land so that he could undertake farming on his land.
While giving his piece of advice to the youngsters envisioning a career in TV and movies Shreyas Talpade said that they should acquire a basic education since that will help them. He added that there are more than 350 allied jobs in the films behind the screen which too are highly paid and sought after. For those planning on acting should start with theatre since that experience really helps. The demure Manjiri Phadnis claimed that is one reason why the shots of Shreyas is over in one take, while others have to give 100s of takes.
Manjiri Phadnis also spoke of the way she chooses her roles carefully and gives her best. While speaking about getting into the role and coming out of it, she said that there are times when she does get so much absorbed into the role that she continued to cry even after the director said cut. She added that it is difficult not to get emotionally involved in the role and become absorbed in it.
