Blood donation camp organised at MH Kamptee by Air Vice Marshal T Nagraj

Nagpur News: Air Vice Marshal T Nagraj, Principal Medical Officer, Headquarters Maintenance Command, Air Force has inaugurated blood donation camp organised by Military Hospital Kamptee on the raising day of Army Medical Corps on 01 Jan 2013. Members of the Corps have donated blood, which will help in saving the precious lives of some members of the society.

Military Hospital Kamptee is playing the key role in providing quality healthcare services to the troops, families & Armed Forces veterans residing in & around Nagpur. A team of highly dedicated Officers, Nursing Officers & Paramedics are working under the guidance of Colonel VN Dhanorkar, Commanding Officer, to improve the satisfaction level of the visitors to the hospital. The focus of the team is not only towards the serving persons & their families, but due importance is given to our veterans, who have once dedicated their brighter time for the Nation. This year, the hospital has organized two medical camps for the armed forces veterans at Chandrapur & Bhandara under the aegis of Station Headquarters, Kamptee, which was an attempt to provide the medical support at the door steps of the brave soldiers of the country, who has borne the charge of our safety for so many years.

Army Medical Corps is dedicated at the service of the saviors of the nation since the inception of Indian Army. The organization which started as medical care providers to the fighting troops only, is now an integral part of the healthcare delivery system of the country. The Corps has taken important role in providing medical support in various public health emergencies & natural disasters at the National as well as International levels in addition to be a vital supporting service to our armed forces.
