Blood donation camp held at NFSC

A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized at National Fire Service College under the banner of National Service Scheme (NSS) on Friday, 10th February, 2017.

The blood donation drive was organised in collaboration with the Arpan Blood Bank, one of the oldest blood bank which is associated with Nagpur Municipal Corporation. Dr. Badhe of the Arpan Blood Bank, told the students about the importance and benefits of blood donation. The staff of NFSC also cooperated and joined in this noble cause. Apart from blood donation camp, a free camp to check up the blood group was also held.

A team of doctors checked the blood group of each and every student of the college. Refreshments were provided to the students who were part of the camp. The volunteers from the Arpan Blood Bank took immense care to meet the requirements of students after donating the blood, so as to avoid any mishaps in the campus.

All the donors were also awarded a certificate. There were around 75 students of the college including staff who donated the blood in this camp. The team of doctors thanked our Director and Staff for their co-operation. Everyone appreciated for being a part of a noble cause.
