Nagpur: 20 year old Mayank Sahu is redefining the terms of talent demonstration. He can orchestrate symphony on piano while beautifully lending his vocals to deliver a soul soothing listening experience. Right from the age of 4, Mayank started recognising notes and has been incredibly tuning up his talent in singing and playing piano and tabla.
Mayank has to his credit dozens of musical shows conducted across nation and abroad. Nonetheless, he has got personal letter of appreciation from renowned musicians Pt. Hariprasad Choursia, Louis Banks and also words of praise by Sonu Nigam. As far as achievements go, he has got his art registered into as many as 8 record books including Limca Book of Records.
Now just for information – Mayank cannot see – we are mentioning this at last because we did not feel Mayank has any regrets for that! Yet he lives life to the full and see the colors of music flying high, what we with full and wide vision sometimes fail to do!
He is Visharad in Hindustani Vocal Classical as well as Visharad in Tabla from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalay Mandal and Miraj Western Piano 5th grade from Trinity Guildhall, London. His proud performances also include the performances in Atlanta and Chicago in USA, Aditya Birla Award Show, NCPA Auditorium in Mumbai.
