Nagpur Today: Common, it’s her birthday! Birthdays, no doubt, have a different place in one’s life. Be a person in any age group, an excitement of celebrating one’s birthday always exists. Birthdays come and go, but the memories conjoined are always stuck in our hearts forever. These memories can anytime make us re-live the moments. Old friends and new friends together make the celebration much special.
This was the 26th birthday party of Urmi Chakravorty Mittra, which was full of surprises, fun and zeal where husband Satyajit Mittra planned a party with the close family and friends at Cafe Zinea. Grandmother got emotional as Urmi’s mom, dad and sister were missing at the event, and started it with the authentic Bengali kheer, Payesh.
Birthday girl received attractive gifts, just her kind of things. The best part of the bash was that super cute Minions cake which Urmi just didn’t feel like cutting, and which was the best surprise of the birthday by husband. Also everybody from kids to adults had fun with the photo booth and props clicking selfies and pictures, etc. The food theme was a combination of Indian plus western. The best part was 26 baloons for the b’day girl, and also was there a ‘housie’ planned in the party. Though it was a weekday the party looked more of a sturdy night affair. Also the birthday invitation was funky stating- So what if I am stepping 26? Still I am a kid. The birthday girl was decked up in a cute floral print frock pumped up with cute sneakers adding up to cuteness.
Excitedly sharing the inner feelings with Nagpur Today, Urmi Chakravorty Mittra said, “It was a great time having everyone celebrating my birthday. Especially the Minion cake was big surprise for me. No doubt, I missed my family a lot.”
Satyajit said that Party was good as everything went according to the plan. Everyone was enjoying it to the core and more importantly the Birthday girl had a gala time meeting and spending time with everyone after ages.
Urmi’s aunt, Pampi Sharma said that though Urmi is married now, she’d always be that lil Urmi for us. With the passing days, every year Urmi is more charged up on her Birthday just like it’s her 1st or 2nd birthday. Urmi is the one who is always enthusiastic no matter what the situation is. She is just like my daughter to me and I’m, always going to love her for that.
