Pune: Bhumika Sinha, a student of class seven MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul won the gold medal in the under-14 girls taluka level karate championship held at Wagholi on Saturday.
Another student, Dhurv Ganguly also brough laurel to school by winning gold in the under 17 boys category.
Both were felicitated by school’s founder Dr Vishwanath Karad.
