Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 to Showcase India’s Trade Power, Innovation and Global Aspirations

The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 (BVM 2026), which will provide a grand platform to showcase India’s trade strength, entrepreneurship, innovation and the resolve for an Atmanirbhar Bharat, will be held from August 12 to 15 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event is being jointly organised by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) and the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO). The Mahotsav will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.

The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav is not merely a trade exhibition, but a vibrant celebration of “Made in India, Made for India, Made for the World.”

Today, the formal preparations for the Mahotsav reached an important spiritual and cultural milestone with the Bhoomi Poojan ceremony at Bharat Mandapam, attended by CAIT National Secretary General and Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk, Delhi, Shri Praveen Khandelwal, along with senior trader leaders from across the country.

Shri Khandelwal said that along with a vast showcase of Indian products, traditional crafts, modern manufacturing, MSMEs, startups and brands from different states and regions of the country, BVM will feature several special thematic pavilions that will give it a distinct identity from conventional trade exhibitions.

FTA Pavilion — A New Gateway from India to the World

A special pavilion based on the Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) entered into by India with various countries will help traders and entrepreneurs understand the changing global trade landscape, identify new international markets and explore export opportunities for Indian products.

The pavilion will serve as a practical platform for taking the vision of “Local to Global” forward.

Rashtriya Gaurav Pavilion — India Transformed Over the Last 12 Years

Shri Khandelwal said that the 12-year journey of India’s transformation under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be specially showcased through this pavilion.

It will highlight India’s economic transformation, expansion of infrastructure, digital revolution, startup ecosystem, Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, India’s growing global stature and major achievements associated with national pride.

The pavilion will present the inspiring journey of “Viksit Bharat” — from the transformation of India to the resolve of building a developed India.

Ability Expo — Opportunity for Talent, Recognition for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities

A special Ability Expo will showcase the products, enterprises and talent of entrepreneurs and individuals with disabilities.

Nari Vandan Pavilion — From Women’s Empowerment to Economic Empowerment
