Nagpur: The Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Wednesday visited Sumatinath Jain Mandir in Ramdaspeth and participated in a Prabhat Pheri taken out on the occasion of Thirtankar Mahavir Jayanti.

The Prabhat Pheri was part of Bhagwan Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Mahotsav. Mahavir Jayanti is being celebrated with religious fervour as it is one of the most sacred festivals for the Jains.
