Nagpur News : A 56-year-old Bank Manager, Anil Bhoj was knocked down dead after being hit by a speeding truck at Uday Nagar square on Tuesday early morning. The incident took place a few distances away from Bhoj’s residence at Vitthal Nagar in Hudkeshwar police station area.
Police informed that Bhoj was working as manager in Bank of Maharashtra, Lakhani branch in Bhandara. Bhoj had left home for Lakhani when a rashly driven truck hit his bike. A helmetless Bhoj, suffered head injuries and was rushed to nearby private hospital. He was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
The truck driver had left the vehicle and fled the spot. Police has booked the absconding truck driver.
