Nagpur: The farmers’ agitation led by former minister and Prahar Janshakti Party chief Bacchu Kadu has reached a critical stage today as the demand for complete farm loan waiver intensifies. The Nagpur–Hyderabad Highway, where Kadu and his supporters have been staging a sit-in protest, turned tense after the High Court ordered the site to be cleared by 6 p.m.
Ministers Pankaj Bhoyar and Ashish Jaiswal were sent by the government to hold talks with Kadu, but the discussions failed to yield any resolution. Following this, an angry Kadu marched directly toward the police, demanding arrest for himself and his supporters.

Kadu further criticized the government’s approach, stating, “The delegation was supposed to meet us at 4 p.m., but they only came after the court’s order. We will not meet any minister now. Only Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should talk to us directly.”
