Almost every record and collection number In Bollywood and South filmdom these days talks in terms of ‘before Baahubali’ and ‘after Baahubali’. Prabhas the Baahubali himself was like any other star hero who enjoyed few hits and few duds in his career before the gigantic film, now seems to be giving slow shocks to top producers with his fresh figures, thanks to Rajamouli’s work.
If reports are to be believed, Bollywood renowned filmmaker Karan Johar had plans on his mind to launch Prabhas in Bollywood with a straight Hindi film on his own production house. Now that Prabhas reportedly asked for a whopping 20 Cr as remuneration, Karan Johar, being a good businessman himself got irked and is heard to be giving up these plans for some time.
Prabhas need to prove himself with Saaho yet, if the remunerations rumors are true, as Baahubali is an exception with super talented filmmaker Rajamouli behind everything of it. If Saaho too turns a decent hit, Prabhas can dictate terms at many a place like he wants and even Karan Johar may want to invest big bucks on this macho man. And if Saaho fails to live the hype, Baahubali success completely falls in Rajamouli’s lap, though no one says it loud enough.
