B-town celebs pour out cautions for Mumbaikars to stay safe from rains

Mumbai has been witnessing heavy shower which resulted in waterlogging, traffic and panic in the city. The city on Tuesday witnessed heavy showers and recorded 86 MM rainfall in just three hours. While the administration is struggling to put things back in order, Bollywood stars also extended their prayers.

Deepika Padukone, who has recently made her international stint with Vin Diesel’s xXx: Return of Xander Cage, took to social media and tweeted, “While I do this,alerts showing up on my phone about the rains in Mumbai. Please stay safe and take care everyone.” DP was engaged with a fun interaction with fans, however, she made to spread awareness about the terrific rains that has hit the city.

Actress and social activist Gul Panag also took to Twitter to alert Mumbaikars about the scenario. The actress wrote, “Brace yourself Mumbai. Heavy rain coming. Plan ahead. Stay safe. #MumbaiRains #rain #weather.”

She further added, “Roads in Versova slowly flooding. Images on TV show tracks submerged. We’re shutting TLP office for the day and sending team home now.”

Besides, Pooja Bhatt and Madhur Bhandarkar also took to Twitter and Instagram respectively, to alert the Mumbaikars to stay safe.
