Nagpur: “The infectious diseases could prove fatal. Awareness, apart from other preventive measures, can curb deaths,” said Mayor Pravin Datke after inaugurating a 7-day exhibition “Janiye Sankramak Rogon ke bareme” (Know about contagious diseases) organized jointly by NMC and Association for Research and Training in Basic Science Education on the occasion of Apoorva Vigyan Mela. “The information-oriented exhibition will leave a mark in the minds of children about awareness on infectious diseases, added the Mayor.
Datke further said that the Apoorba Vigyan Mela, organized through ARTBSE, had drawn attention of the country and for this venture, Suresh Agrawal, Secretary of Association for Research and Training in Basic Science Education, deserves appreciation.
“Children are future of the country. If they are made aware of the contagious diseases right from their childhood, they can contribute their might in the form of healthy citizens,” stated the Mayor.
