Although our parents fixed it up all, gradually in our journey of life together, we fall for each other. Even after 6 months of our marriage now, I still get to know different sides of him. There have been many instances that turned into lovable memories, but the most prominent one was the time when I was pleasantly surprised on my birthday, with gifts and dear ones around me, that was all arranged by Ankush. It was really unexpected since giving surprises was so not his nature.”

…Baaton Baaton mein pyar ho gaya

Mandar Chitaley, who shares his life with Pradnya Chitaley quoted, “Ours is a filmy love story I must say! I, for the first time saw her at my friend’s elder brother’s wedding, and liked her at the very first glance. I was lucky enough to have met her when her aunt forgot her purse at the wedding venue, and I dropped it at their place. This was our first meeting, when I gave her a glance, and she as well smiled. Later on, unexpectedly I received a call, it was from Pradnya! My number was passed on to her by one of our relatives, which was the instance when I realized that aag dono taraf se lagi hai boss! One of our common friends Meghna Pandey, then helped in carrying this relation forward. I asked Pradnya for lunch thereafter, and baato baato aur aankho aankho me pyaar ho gaya! In our fourth meeting, I kept a marriage proposal in front of her.”

Once, when I met with an accident, his name was the first that came to my mind, that was my ‘day of love’, when I realized that he is the one! Not much is there to say, since we are not a romantic couple, I would mention that we don’t need any special day to express our love.”

Destiny brought them together again

Aarti and Praveen Eliezer however share more of a strong friendship bond, with khatta-meetha flavours of love in it! Aarti narrated her part of story saying, “The tradition of arranged marriages in my family was really new! They never know how to ‘arrange’ a marriage! My elders have tied knots in love marriages. However, mine was arranged. It was the time when I wasn’t ready to get involved, I dressed in the most casual way when I first met Praveen and his family. But then I talked to Praveen, he sure was a gentleman! Though he was really talkative, within two days of chatting, I knew I am in love with this person, and now, truly, madly and deeply.” On the other hand, talkative Praveen had a whole new side to his story, and it was lengthier than railway tracks! He quoted, “when my parents started looking a match for me, I was in China, my age suited marriage, and it was high time to settle down. There was a lot of pressure. I had therefore given myself to life. I had no specific choices to make. But when I saw Aarti, I remembered the time, when once I liked a girl six years back, and she was right in front of me!
