Nagpur: The winter session was started in Nagpur so that Vidarbha could get justice and its problems could be solved. Vidarbha cannot get justice with working of 10 to 12 days. The winter session should go on for at least six weeks or else the ruckus created every year in the name of winter session should be stopped, said BJP MLA Dr Ashish Deshmukh.
Deshmukh further said, earlier Nagpur was the capital of Central province before being included in Maharashtra but since Mumbai was to become the capital of Maharashtra the then leaders made Nagpur agreement because of this winter session was started in Nagpur. The people here were hoping that the working of government would take place from Nagpur. But soon after winter session all the minsters go back to Mumbai and so the problem of Vidarbha remain unsolved.
BJP’s commitment for development of Vidarbha and for justice to Vidarbha, the winter session should go on for six weeks. If the government cannot do this then the show of winter session should be stopped said Deshmukh. He further said that the government is working under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and he very well knows that it would be in favour of Vidarbha, if more days are given for Vidabha’s working. He also said that if the house goes on for one and a half months many decision would be taken in favour of this region. The crores of rupees spent would be meaningful.
