The car in which Aam Aadmi Party supremo and New Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was travelling met with a minor accident in Jalandhar on Friday.

The accident occurred when Kejriwal’s cavalcade was descending a flyover. His car was hit by another car of his cavalcade that avoided hitting an auto rickshaw.

The Delhi chief minister, who was not injured, resumed his journey to Amritsar from Ludhiana where he spent the night.

“He is safe and has already left for Amritsar,” AAP’s Jalandhar zone incharge Rajiv Chanda said.
