Anti-terrorist school to come up at Surabuldi in Nagpur

Consolidating its fight against terrorism the State of Maharashtra has decided to step further in its endeavor! The state cabinet on Tuesday approved setting up of counter insurgency and Anti-Terrorist School at Surabuldi in Nagpur.

The training school aims at making the security forces equipped with innovative means to combat terrorism in a better way.

After the meeting Fadnavis tweeted, “This will provide state of art training facilities to police department for jungle and field tactics, map reading, ambush and handling of different weapons.” He also said that the Central and the State governments would jointly contribute funds for this school. The state cabinet also sanctions creation of various posts for this school, a senior CMO official has said.
