Nagpur News : The series of ‘brutal’ and ‘horrific’ murders continue in the second capital as a youth was found murdered on the wee hours of Monday with face smashed with a boulder. The homicide took place under the jurisdiction of Gittikhadan police station.
As per reports, Gittikhadan police received a phone call early Monday morning at around 6 aminforming that a blood soaked body of a youth was located near Bhivsan Khori Road. Cops swung into action and immediately reached the spot. After performing panchanama of the body, it was sent to Government Hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, the wife of the deceased reached the spot and identified the body. The deceased, identified as Nitin Khawse, aged 31, is a resident Sai Nagar, Dabha.
According to preliminary investigations, PSI Bhaskar told that alcohol issue might be the reason behind this bloodshed. However, the exact reason could be ascertained only after the post mortem report and further investigations. Sources informed that Nitin who worked as a driver by profession, came back from his duty. He had some snacks and left for somewhere. His wife waited for him but when he did not turn up and thus started search for her husband. On Monday early morning, she was informed about a dead body being located in the area and identified her husband. Police said, Nitin is survived by wife and an eight year old daughter.
Cops have started their investigations and launched a hunt for the accused. With brutal murders continuing in the city, cops have assured to solve the case and nab the culprits at the earliest.
