200-400 persons gherao new venture opened in front of Ganeshpeth Main Bus stand
Nagpur: Guess some people will never learn from other people who have undergone harrowing experiences after losing hard-earned money in Ponzi schemes.
Financial Scams have not been uncommon in the city. Proving the definition of scam as means of getting money by deception or in an illicit way, the previous Scamsters of Nagpur have tried out all means and have minted scores of rupees too. While some have managed to flee with money gotten through illegitimate manner and have gone underground into hiding while a few have been arrested and are undergoing imprisonment.
Credit Scam
Another financial scam that has come to fore is where a company had opened a Chit-Fund company in some other part of the city and after duping scores of citizens in that area and gone underground for some time and have emerged under a new name Parakram Credit Limited with the office located hit opposite to Ganeshpeth Main Bus Stand.
The Director of the Parakram Credit Limited identified as Sheshrao Bhoyar is said to have indulged in a similar financial scam. Around 300-400 brokers through whom public/citizens have invested large sums of money had gathered in front of the Parakram Credit Limited with an intention to gherao the Director Sheshrao Bhoyar, but found the office locked.
Irked with thought of getting cheated, they have lodged a case with Ganeshpeth Police Station and the District Collector of Nagpur.
Till the time of filing the report, the investigation in the matter is still going on.
