Nagpur News : Anjuman Polytechnic defeated Dharampeth Polytechnic 1-0 to win football tournament organised by Inter Engineering Diploma Students Sports association at Chhatrapati Shivaji stadium, Police Line Takli recently.
Dharanmpeth Polytechnic commited a blunder by scoring suicidal goal. It ultimately resulted into the victory for Anjuman.
Former Indian handball women’s team captain Dr Lovneet Kaur Randhawa was the chief guest of prize distribution function.
The event was organised under the guidance of sports officer of Raisoni Group of Institutions IS Randhawa.
In all 12 teams participated in the tournament. Principal of GHRP Dilip Gupta, sports in-charge Akhade, IS Randhawa, Nitin Jangtiwar and others were also present on the ocasion.
