Quite unruly scenes were witnessed at the Maxwell Hospital near Borgaon on Saturday when angry relatives of a deceased gate crashed into the hospital, damaged the furniture and pelted stones in the premises. A doctor was reportedly injured in the ruckus. The people who gathered at the hospital alleged that their kin died because the hospital did not admit him, thus debarring him from timely treatment. Police have filed a case against the relatives of the deceased for damaging property and creating ruckus under IPC 143 ,147, 336,337,427.
On Friday the deceased Sanam Sunil Meshram received severe head injury after the two-wheeler which he was riding with pillion on, rammed into another motorbike approaching from opposite direction near Gorewada road at Borgaon in Nagpur. Police sources said the accident occurred around 11 am in the morning on Friday. The people present there took the deceased to Maxwell hospital near the accident spot. As the patient was critically injured, the doctors advised the relatives of the deceased to shift him to critical care at Mayo. According to the police the relatives took the deceased to Dande Hospital, where Sanam succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. Further investigations are going on.
