In 1986 the Four- year degree course in Cosmetic Technology was started. This institution was the first of its kind in India to offer Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Technology. In 1997, the college pioneered the 2 -years Post Graduate Degree leading to Masters in Cosmetic Technology.
Department was recognized by RTM Nagpur University as centre for higher studies and Doctoral Research in 2004. Three years later in 2007, a UGC granted Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Assurance of Cosmetics. The department owes its success to the management, staff and students who have played and continue to play a significant role in its growth and development.
