Nagpur: G. H. Raisoni Academy of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur organized its third Alumni Meet- ‘Yaadein-17’ at Hotel Tuli Imperial, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. It was a time and event for old relationships to be cherished, celebrated, refreshed and new ones to be formed.
The program started with Principal’s address. Dr. Vivek Kapur welcomed the alumni and acquainted them with the recent happenings at GHRAET. He informed them that after accomplishing the goal of NAAC accreditation, the college is going for NBA accreditation in the year 2019. He also announced the implementation of various student as well as faculty schemes/intiatives. Priya Bavaria, Training & Placement Officer, Shradha Park, spoke about the T&P activities and presented the placement data. She informed that every year the placement percentage is improving.
The alumni were overwhelmed with this reunion. They participated in the games arranged for them. During the interactive session they informed about their current positions and shared their old memories.

Rahul Ojha and Nidhi Newalkar hosted the event. Vikas and Omkar, 3rd year Mechanical students, sang melodious songs. Dr. Vivek Kapur, Principal; Dr. Sanjay Haridas, Vice-Principal & HOD E & C; Dr. Achal Shahare, HOD Mech; Dr. Sonali Bodkhe, HOD CSE; Prof. Deepa Telang, HOD Civil and faculties were present on the occasion. The event was coordinated by Prof. Gita Devi Bhaskar and Prof. Pragati Kene.
