Mumbai/ Nagpur: Mumbai police arrested Indrani Mukherjea and he ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna for the alleged murder of Sheena Bora. Deceased Sheena was daughter of Indrani, present wife of ex-chief of Star India Network, Peter Mukherjea. About a week fater their arrest, it has come to the fore that Indrani and Sanjeev Khanna may have natched the conspiracy to murder Sheena through Skype chatting so that the evidence could be concealed which would not have been if mobile phones were used for communications.
According to certain media reports, it was Sanjeev Khanna who, talking through Skype, calling service, might have suggested Indrani to kill Sheena in her flat which she shared with her boy friend, Rahul Mukherjea, so that the burden of proof should lie on Rahul. But, they dismissed the plan as they feared that someone from the same building might recognise them later and police might trap them. According to their second plan, Indrani allegedly suggested Sanjeev to kill Sheena at her Worli residence in Mumbai. Indrani allegedly told Sanjeev that she would call her daughter to her residence when her husband Peter Mukerjea would be out of station.
However, Sanjeev allegedly rejected the idea stating that this plan might bring them into police trap. After a long discussion, finally, it was decided that they would kill Sheena in a car and would burn her body later. It has been reported that Indrani and Sanjeev had followed their last plan and killed Sheena in a car and later disposed of her body in a jungle in Raigad, near Mumbai.
After three years of the brutal murder of Sheena Bora, Mumbai Police arrested Indrani, Sanjeev and Indrani’s driver. The trio were the main accused in the case, claimed the media report.
