Nagpur  News :
Once again queries have been raised against the police administration. A citizen alleges police of trying to save the culprit. Ratndip Wasnik alleged that Ajni Police is not registering a complaint against the person who passed casteist remarks against him. According to Ratndip Wasnik, the police is not lodging the complaint under Atrocities Act against the person who insulted him in front of thousands of people by mentioning him to be of low caste.

Ratndip Wasnik, the complainant had gone to register his complaint in Ajni Police Station against Sanket Dube who had allegedly past casteist remarks against him, but was denied time and again. While talking to the press personnel Ratndip Wasnik told that the Police personnel are just giving very vague reasons and not registering the complaint. It’s been almost one and a half months but till date he has not received a copy of FIR said Ratndip Wasnik.

Ratndip Wasnik runs a pharmacy in front of Super Specialty Hospital. According to Ratndip Wasnik, he met a person named Sanket Dube in Medical College Square a few months ago. Sanket Dube told him that he has very good contact with a doctor who is opening a hospital and that he will provide him a space in front of his hospital for opening a pharmacy. This man had allegedly demanded some money for this work. Being jobless Ratndip Wasnik gave Rs 10, 50,00,0 (Rs 10.5 lakhs) for the space. However, afterwards he came to know that Sanket Dube is a fraud and that he is not the owner of the Hospital. Ratndip Wasnik also found that there is no designation and registration number printed on the prescription slip and that he has been cheating the patients and people at large. Ratndip Wasnik also told that this is how he came to know that he has been trapped. Sanket Dube allegedly used to prescribe excess medicines and later used to return the extra medicines and ask for money.

According to Ratnadip Wasnik, when he opposed these illegal acts of Sanket Dube he started threatening him and asked him to give 40% commission on the prescriptions and later demanded 50% commission on the medicines he prescribed. Ratndip Wasnik added that, when he denied Sanket Dube made Castiest Remarks in front of everyone. Ratnadip had allegedly gone to the police station but till date, no action has been initiated as yet against Sanket Dube.

When Ratndip Wasnik felt that the police are not going to register a complaint against Sanket Dube, he went to Court and approached Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nagpur, S H Gwalani. The ACJM gave notice to the Police Station Officer of Ajni Police Station to lodge the complaint immediately. However, still the situation is persists as it was before.  Ratndip Wasnik has demanded stern action against senior officials of the Ajni Police Station and also immediate action against Sanket Dube
