Nagpur News: Tragedy struck Meshram family as three youths attacked Meshram brothers over moneytary issue and tried to kill them. Ajni police booked the three accused under attempt to murder charges on Thursday.
As per details, Josu Prafulla Meshram, aged 24, had taken some money from the accused some time ago and failed to return the money till date. On Thursday, Josu was riding his Pulsar bike with his brother Nirwan riding pillion. The accused Rajat Raut, Lukky alias Kishor Telang (21), a resident of Savitribai Phule Nagar, Ajni and Yashwant Wasudeo Chitkule (23), a resident of Kailash Nagar, Ajni, stopped Josu near Douglas Hotel, Lane No. 9, Chandramani Nagar. The accused demanded their money back but Josu said he had no money with him and would return the money as soon as possible. However, the accused, who were already raging with anger, listen none from Josu and attacked Josu with a knife. Josu successfully dodged the first attack and staring running for his life. The accused then chased Josu and thrashed him with a wooden rafter on his head. Josu was severely injured in the attack. The accused then turned their attention towards Josu’s brother Nirwan and showered him with punches and kicks. Satisfied with the beating, the accused left the scene.
Both Meshram brothers are undergoing treatment in a hospital. Ajni police was informed after which they rushed to the spot. On the basis of the complaint by Josu, a resident of Ajni Railway Quarter, RB/266, Ajni, cops have registered an offence under Sections 307, 323, and 34 of the IPC against all the three accused and launched a hunt for them.
