Nagpur:The sensational crackdown on Ajay Spa & Saloon in Ramdaspeth, revealing the high profile sex racket appears to have become a weak case. The District Judge-6 & Additional Sessions Judge S A S M Ali granted anticipatory bail to Abhay, one of the accused in sex racket busted by police Wednesday. Special Squad of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Chinmay Pandit had raided the saloon and had busted a flesh trade racket being operated under the garb of the Spa on September 14.
Cops had rescued five girls after raiding the saloon and seized a diary mentioning the names of the clients. Ajay Loharkar, his brother Abhay Loharkar, who are owners of Ajay Spa & Saloon, were booked along with others. A customer, manager and a security guard were arrested. An offence under Sections 370 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act was registered against them at Sitabuldi Police Station.
Ajay Loharkar was arrested on September 14. He was released on conditional bail on October 1.
Abhay Loharkar moved anticipatory bail application through his lawyer Adv Sameer Sonwane. The prosecution opposed releasing Abhay on bail. Adv Sonwane argued that his client was innocent. After hearing both the sides, the court granted
