Air Chief Marshal AP Singh Chairs Maintenance Command Conclave in Nagpur


Nagpur: The Maintenance Command Commanders’ Conclave took place at Vayusena Nagar, Nagpur, on 16–17 October 2025, with Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, presiding over the event. He was received by Air Marshal VK Garg, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, and welcomed with a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

The conclave, themed “Capability Enhancement through Indigenous Technological Development,” focused on strengthening self-reliance, indigenisation, and long-term sustainment of critical assets. Commanders deliberated on operational, maintenance, and logistics challenges, exchanging innovative solutions to enhance mission readiness and fleet availability.

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh was briefed on initiatives by Maintenance Command aimed at reducing dependency on foreign OEMs, boosting system reliability, conducting life extension studies, improving supply chain efficiency, and driving technological innovations. He lauded the personnel for their contributions to the IAF’s operational readiness and their alignment with the national vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
