Nagpur: The parents of Rahul Agrekar have alleged police apathy in their son murder case and have demanded that the culprits be arrested immediately and punished.
Addressing a press conference, Suresh M Agrekar said, When Rahul was abducted they had immediately informed the police but no quick action was taken. He further alleged that from time to time they had been informing the Lakadganj police about the phone calls that they were receiving from the culprit for Rs 1 crore as ransom. The police did not make any effort to tap the phone though they had informed the the police that they suspected Durgesh Bokade to involved in this, he said.
He further said that he and the entire Jain community demands that the culprits be caught immediately and punished
