Nagpur: Agitated from not being invited for the President’s arrival events, Krupal Tumane, Loksabha MP from Ramtek has declared that he will produce a notice for privilege notion abuse in the Parliament. President Ram Nath Kovind was in Nagpur and also inaugurated Vipassana Meditation Centre at Dragon Palace in Kamptee. However, Member of the Parliament from this region was neither invited for the event nor his name was mentioned in the event brochure.

“I welcomed the President on airport according to the protocol. Later, I left from there. This event was not a personal but government program. My name is not mentioned even in the brochure which is offensive”, said Tumane.

As stated by Tumane, this is an insult to a public representative. He has also warned that he will be taking the matter to upcoming session of the Parliament. “I had expected to receive an invitation few minutes before the program. I was even present near the venue at my constituency. But, I was not invited”, he claimed. “I have good relations with BJP ministers and have also been attending several events. This has happened for the first time”, he added.

The scenario has palpably raised questions on the fact that a Shiv Sena MP was not even invited for the high level event. As per the protocols, in nay government event, the name of Loksabha MP is to be published before Rajya Sabha MP.
