Nagpur: An aged man’s folly of deserting a cash bag for a few seconds cost him Rs 1 lakh on Monday night.
The complainant, Balkishan Bhagwandas Lad (62), resident of Plot No. 898, Pothi Galli, in Tehsil area, told police that he reached home around 9.10 pm on Monday. But Balkishan committed a grave mistake while locking up his vehicle.
For a few seconds, Balkishan kept his bag containing cash of Rs 1 lakh in front of his house and then turned to lock up his vehicle. At that precise moments, an unidentified burglar dodged the sight of Balkishan and lifted the bag and vanished from the scene.
Tehsil PSI V S Kadlak, based on a complaint, has booked the unidentified burglar under Sections 379, 34 of IPC and searching the offender.
