Nagpur: Sports quota recruit Amrita Thakur of office of the Accountant General (A&E) II, Maharashtra, Nagpur was felicitated by Accountant General Dinesh Patil for bringing laurels to the office.
She was crowned champion in District Level Badminton Tournament recently at her home district Samastipur, Bihar under the auspices of Bihar State Badminton Association. She will represent the State of Bihar in March-April 2016.
Before joining the present office, Amrita had been representing for more than eight years in various Senior National Level Badminton Tournaments held at various States, viz., Madhya Pradesh (2008-09), Assam (2011-12), Delhi (2012-13) and Jammu & Kashmir (2013-14). Dinesh Patil wished her success in all her forthcoming endeavors.
