Acute shortage of essential medicines in Nagpur GMCH

Nagpur: Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Nagpur is facing acute shortage of least 46 essential medicines and injections. Owing to the same, patients have been pressed to face lot of problems and this has compelled Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) to write GMCH dean.

There is huge paucity of essential medicines and injections in Operation Theatres, Wards and Emergency Department, a source from MARD said.

GMCH MARD has already written a memorandum and submitted to GMCH dean, Dr Sudhir Gupta mentioning the agony of patients who tend to suffer due to scarcity of medicines.
