While speaking as Chief Guest in a function organised by PRAYAS Rehabilitation Society, on the 2ndApril 2015, at Traffic Park Dharampeth on the occasion of World Autism Day, Sri Rajiv R Mishra Chairman cum Managing Director, Western Coalfields Limited, conveyed his support for the initiatives of Awareness and management of Autism. Autism, a neuro- developmental disorder, has become the concern for the world. In India, its incidence has averaged 1 in 78 children.
Sri Mishra told that, these children are the God’s own children. God desires that they be given special care and love. These differently abled children need the tender care and consideration of the society. The teachers and the persons associated with the PRAYAS Rehabilitation Society are doing the great job. WCL will be in forefront to help and support such initiatives.
The function was attended by Dr Uday Bodhankar, well known Child Specialist. About 50 differently abled children participated in the games and dance programmes. Large gathering of the parents of the children cheered the excellent performance.
