Trickster fleeces man with Rs 5 lakh on pretext of giving MBBS admission to his son

Nagpur: A gullible father’s dream of making his son a doctor was mercilessly shattered by a dubious young man who fleeced him to the tune of Rs 5 lakh on the pretext of procuring MBBS admission to his son. Forget the MBBS admission, the father was not returned a single rupee by the accused. The accused has been booked.

The victim, Mohammed Maksud Sheikh (51), resident of Sugat Nagar, MHADA Quarter No. C/17, Nari Road, Nagpur, was approached by the accused Aditya Dhanraj Jain, resident of Second Floor, Orange City Tower, in front of Tilak Patrakar Bhavan, Nagpur, over a period from 25.814 to 22.9.14. The accused Aditya convinced Mohammed Sheikh with a fictitious promise that he could procure MBBS admission to his son Mohid Sheikh. In return, Aditya took Rs 5 lakh from Mohammed. However, forget the MBBS admission, the accused did not show his face again and usurped the amount. The duped Mohammed finally filed a complaint with Dhantoli police against the accused.

Senior PSI Jadhav registered an offence against accused Aditya Dhanraj Jain under Section 420 and probing the matter further.
