An 18 girl was raped repeatedly by his boyfriend over a period of time while another minor girl was gang-raped by two boys, in two separate incidents in MIDC and Ambazari area.Both the girls have lodged complaint against culprit youths. MIDC police have arrested the youth while Ambazari police have booked two other youths.
An 18-year-old girl was raped repeatedly by a youth whom she met in a train journey. Reports have it that the boy, identified as Amit Arunkumar Singh (23), a native of Bihar, befriended the girl during the train journey. They exchanged their contact number and with time, the girl started trusting Amit. Soon, Amit invited the girl at his house for meal. He mixed sedatives in her meal after which she lost her conscious. Taking advantage of her condition, Amit raped the girl. He then threatened her of dire consequences and established physical intimacy repeatedly between November 2013 and 2014. Frustrated with the repeated warning and threats, the girl finally gathered courage and approached MIDC police. Cops took her statement and registered an offence under Sections 328, 234, 507, 506 (b), 376 (a) of the IPC and arrested Amit.
The second took place under the jurisdiction of Ambazari police station where a 15-year-old victim lodged a complaint that she was raped by a youth and his friend repeatedly in last eight months.
According to information, the 15-year-old girl was walking to school between Subhash Nagar T-Point and IT Park Bus Stand eight months ago when two youths Atul and his friend approached the girl and offered to drop her school. The girl trusted the youths and took lift from them. The youths then took her to deserted shrubs between Subhash Nagar T-Point and Dikshabhoomi Square and raped her taking turns. They later threatened the girl to eliminate her parents if she narrates the incidence to anyone. However, the youths did not stop here and demanded repeated physical relation with the girl. The girl finally dared to narrate the ordeal to her parents after which they approached Ambazari police on Monday.
Ambazari police have registered an offence under Sections 376 (d), 363, 366 (a) read with sub sections 3 (a), 4, 5 (g) (j) (II) L and 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and booked the two youths.
