Nagpur: In a second incident of fire reported in past 48 hours, a major fire broke out at wooden log godown near Mahalgaon, Kapsi on Bhardara road on Wednesday evening. After the preliminary investigation, it is suspected that the fire could have been triggered by the bush fire of adjoining open ground. However, no casualty was reported in the incident.
Speaking to Nagpur Today, Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rajendra Uchke informed that, “Fire Department responded to the incident at around 5.30pm. One water browser and three fire tenders from Sugat Nagar, Lakadganj and Sakkardara fire station were rushed to the spot.”
Though the property worth lacks has been engulfed by the fire, the exact amount of loss was yet to be ascertained said factory owner Sammer Jaiswal, a resident of Wardhaman Nagar, reportedly told to Uchke.
This is the second incident of fire reported on the Bhandara Road within past 48hrs. It is likely to mention that on April 15, this month a similar incident was reported when huge fire broke out at Suruchi Masale factory situated in the same locality giving a tough time to the fire fighters.
