Nagpur: Miscreants broke into a house in Namdev Nagar under Yashodhara Nagar and decamped with booty to the tune of Rs 1,92,000. The theft took place when the family had gone to attend a wedding on Friday.

Police sources revealed that, a 60-year-old complainant Kushal Mahadevrao Nikhare resident of Plot. No. 27 Namdev Nagar had gone to attend wedding in Kanhan between 4 and 8pm on Friday. In the meantime, some anonymous culprit sneaked into his house by smashing the latch of the main door and absconded with the valuables placed in wooden almirah.
