The largest Association of Round Table International – Round Table India witnessed the Change of guard in its leadership on 14th July 2018 at Hotel Ramada, Lucknow. Dhruv Dalmia from Kanpur took over as the National President of the 4700 member strong organization in midst of a Members from across the country. The event was themed in true UP style as Bakaiti.
He introduced his Head board for the year who will help him and Round Table India achieve the vision for the year – to “Live Life “and achieve the best for the organization. His head Board members who took over during the Change over Banquet named Bakaiti are – Piyush Daga from Nagpur Round Table 83 as National Vice President, Akshay Dugar from Chennai as National Secretary, Ashish Gupta from Delhi as National Treasurer and Christopher Arvinth from coimbatore as Immediate Past President.

Apart from the Head Board, National President Dhruv Dalmia also introduced his 100 Member Team who will help the country and the members achieve the mission for the year and help the society and the deserving children benefit from the various initiatives of the organization.
Round Table is an organization of young men aimed at promoting community service and goodwill in National & International Affairs. Round Table is present in 67 Countries worldwide with over 65,000 members. Round Table India (http://www.roundtableindia.org/), presently has more than 320 Tables (chapters) located in 95+ cities and towns, comprising of businessmen, entrepreneurs, technocrats and professionals. Men who can rise above personal concerns to seek and serve the larger needs of the community. On the administration front, Round Table India has a National Board, which guides the affairs of the association. Round Table India is divided into 16 Areas, which have their own Area Board to administer them. From a very early stage it was agreed that Round Table would be a non-political, non-religious, and non-sectarian club and this has continued to the current day.
Round Table India is a “Zero Overhead Organization” and therefore every rupee raised by the Organization goes purely into Charitable Projects. In addition to the financial support received from corporate donors the members of Round Table India also contribute their funds towards the projects thereby acting as force multipliers.
While there are several Community Service Projects being implemented concurrently by Round Tables India across the country, “Freedom Through Education” is the ongoing National Project of Round Table India aimed at supporting education of underprivileged children.
Round Table India is involved in building Class Rooms, Toilets and providing other amenities like Drinking water facility, Library, Science lab etc to schools across the country that are catering to children from underprivileged sections of the society. Round Table India has in the last 20 years built 6189 Classroom in 2588 projects with total outlay of Rs 244.65 crore impacting 6.8 million underprivileged children in India.
