Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a 13-year old girl committed suicide by hanging at her residence in Koradi area here on Monday. The reason behind the kid girl taking such extreme step could not be ascertained immediately. It is also could not be verified whether the girl put the noose around her neck herself or accidentally. Or the death was result of a foul play.
A resident of Manav Nagar, Mahadula, Koradi, the deceased has been identified as Prital Chandramani Gondane. Between 10.30 am and 11.45 am on Monday, Prital was found hanging in her bedroom with an odhni around her neck. As she was breathing, she was taken to Alexis Hospital, Koradi Road, New Mankapur, and admitted for treatment. However, doctors pronounced Prital dead during the course of treatment around 3.40 pm on Tuesday. The reason behind the kid girl taking such extreme step could not be ascertained immediately. Koradi police constable Pramod, based on information provided by Vishwajit Manikrao Gondane (42), has registered a case of accidental death and launched an in-depth probe into the matter.
