A 23-year-old youth heading home on bike was knocked dead by a speeding mini truck near Koradi check post on Tuesday afternoon. Nicholas Alexandar was driving home to Panjra when he met with the incident around 1.15 pm. Alexandar, who was driving without helmet succumbed to his head injuries on the spot. Koradi police has arrested accused driver Anil Thakre and has seized his vehicle. Victim’s body was handed over to parents after post-mortem conducted at Mayo mortuary.
