Nagpur: The Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone 3 Rahul Maknikar has ordered externment of a notorious criminal Sayyed Arif alias Sanu Sayyed Sharafat (22) for a period of one year. The goon, resident of Bangali Panja, Laldarwaja, Tandapeth, was involved in a number of criminal activities of serious nature such as assaults with lethal weapons, life threats etc.

The hardcore criminal was terror and the people were scared to come forward and lodge complaints against him. Subsequently, the DCP Maknikar, based on report of Pachpaoli police, banished Sayyed Arif alias Sanu Sayyed Sharafat from Nagpur city and district for one year under Section 56(1)(A)(B) of Mumbai Police Act 1951.
