Nagpur News : A 28-year-old woman riding pillion lost her life while her husband escaped with minor injuries after a speeding truck knocked down their two-wheeler near Telephone exchange square on Monday morning.
Snehal Indane succumbed to her head injuries at a private hospital after four hours during treatment.
Police said Narsala road resident, Ashish and his wife were heading to relative’s house when they the rashly driven truck knocked down their bike. Snehal fell near the rear wheel of the truck while Indane suffered minor injuries. She was rushed to nearby hospital.

There was some tension at the spot after the passers-by who had witnessed truck driver’s rash driving, pelted stones on the truck. The driver fled the spot and is still at large.
Hudkeshwar police has booked the truck driver.
