Nagpur: An unidentified miscreant torched two motorcycles of a 27-year old man in Nandanvan area here on dead of Saturday night. Cops have launched a search of the accused arsonist.
A resident of Plot No. 31, New Diamond Nagar, Kharbi Road, Kamalesh Suresh Binekar (27), told police that he had parked his two motorcycles – Honda Shine (MH-49/M 0449) and Hero Honda Passion Pro (MH-49/W 6966) in front of his house. Around 0130 hours of Saturday, an unidentified hooligan set the two bikes ablaze and caused loss of Rs 40,000 to Kamalesh.
Nandanvan PSI S H Thorat has registered a case under Section 435 of the IPC and searching for the accused. The motive behind the arson could not be ascertained by cops so far.
