Nagpur: A 40-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after a speeding truck rammed into his bike at Trimurti Nagar Square late on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Kailas Uike, resident of Subhash Nagar near Buddha Vihar.
The incident took place around 9:40 pm on November 19 when Kailas Uike was travelling on his two-wheeler (MH 40 AJ 9714). A Tata truck (MH 40 AK 5125), allegedly driven at high speed and in a negligent and dangerous manner, hit the motorcycle, leaving Uike critically injured. He was rushed to Medical Hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.

Following a complaint filed by Police Constable Prabhakar Raut from Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station, an offence has been registered against the truck driver under Sections 281 and 106(1) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).
