Nagpur: In a shocking incident, a youth was stabbed by a group of attackers led by his girlfriend’s former partner in the Kapil Nagar Police Station limits.
According to police, Rohit alias Bajrang Sunil Wagh (28), resident of MHADA Colony, Kapil Nagar, was stabbed by a group of attackers led by Anil Rakesh Yadav, resident of MHADA Quarters. The incident occurred on Saturday night when Rohit visited an under construction building to meet his friend Varsha, who had recently broken up with Anil and started a friendship with Rohit.

Anil was reportedly angry about this and had previously asked Rohit to end his friendship with Varsha ganesh Kevat (32), which Rohit had ignored. Three attackers, with their faces covered by dupattas, arrived at the building. Upon seeing a knife in their hands, Varsha ran away, leaving Rohit behind. The attackers then proceeded to stab Rohit multiple times before fleeing the scene.
Harsha immediately informed the Kapil Nagar police, who quickly arrived at the scene and rushed Rohit to the Government Medical College and Hospital. A case under Sections 307 and 34 of Indian Penal Code was registered against Anil and his accomplices, and a search operation is underway to apprehend them. Meanwhile, Rohit is said to be recovering in the hospital.
