    8-year-old boy dies while chasing kite

    Even before the festival of kites-Sankrant is two weeks away, city police reported the first death of a minor boy while chasing a
    kite. The incident took place in Ajni police station area on Saturday evening that claimed life of an eight-year-old boy.

    The deceased identified as Chottu Parihar, originally hailed from Chindwara , and was staying near Narendra Nagar in city. Police said
    that Parihar was trying to get hold of the manja from the balcony of the second floor flat near Narednra Nagar overbridge, when he lost balance and fell down. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where he was declared brought dead on Sunday morning.
    Ajni police has registered a case of an accidental death
