Nagpur: Two motorcycle-borne goons, on the pretext of enquiring address, robbed an aged woman of her gold mangalsutra and chain worth Rs 45,000 in Bajaj Nagar on Wednesday.
A Plot No. 39A, Rmakrishna Nagar, Khamla Road resident Sunita Suresh Tod (70) was returning home walking around 6.15 on Wednesday. As she reached near LIC Colony Garden in Deonagar, two youngsters riding a two wheeler, approached Sunita and enquired from her address of a person. However, even before Sunita could respond, the goons snatched gold mangalsutra and chain worth Rs 45,000 from her and fled the spot.
Bajaj Nagar PSI K S Kuthe has booked the two unidentified goons under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
