Nagpur: Sadar police have booked five persons, including a lady lawyer, on the charges preparing bogus documents with the intention of grabbing a 52-year old woman’s property.
According to police, the accused Ravi Vallabhdas Mohta, Madhav Vallabhdas Mohta, both residents of 135, Nikunj Mohta, Ramdaspeth, Dilip Gundekar, Ashish Gundekar, and Adv Aparna Dalwi connived with each other to grab property of Kamla Shridas Mohta (52), resident of 135, Nikunj Mohta, Ramdaspeth. Kamla Mohta was heir apparent of the property. All the five accused, with the intention to grab property of Kamla Mohta, prepared a bogus death certificate of Meena Mohta, the mother-in-law of Kamla. The bogus death certificate was procured from Tehsil Office situated at Akashwani Square. The accused used the bogus death certificate in the court of law and thus cheated Kamla Mohta.
Sadar PSI Ingle, acting on the complaint of Kamla Mohta, booked all the five accused under Sections 420, 468, 471, 34 of the IPC and probing the matter further.
